Now hiring a full-time or part-time 310T Mechanic and apprentices for our Ayr, Ontario location.

Position Summary:

• Responsible for the service, repair, and safety of JBT/Heritage truck and trailers.

​

Shift Details:

• Weekend Day shift.  Three 12hr shifts paid 40hrs, or four 10hr shifts available.

​

Shift Premium:

• $1.50 shift premium.

​

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain all JBT/Heritage trucks, trailer.

• Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required

• Ensure all parts are marked in on a daily basis

• Ability to safety all equipment

• Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment

• Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment

• Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations

• All other duties as required

• Understand vehicle reports and use computer systems.

Qualifications:

• Certified Class 310T Mechanic license, registered training agreement, or looking for a new career.

• Must have own tools in good working order

• Valid Class G driver’s license required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
